How Much do Children cost?

I saw the video below here and couldn't resist sharing it as you know how much we love and feel blessed by each child we have been given by our great and glorious God.

Blessings,

  2. Wish I could remember where I read it, maybe it was in the book "Growing Up With The Country", but someone pointed out that there was a line we crossed in this country where children became financial deficits instead of assets. You know, the old farm or homestead or peasant holding, you want many children because they grow to work as part of your family and the more children you have the richer you are, not just metaphorically, but literally. The way we approach childhood today means that children are considered nothing but users of family resources for at least sixteen years, usually eighteen.
