As I am working on a few things at the moment and our camera cord isn't working so I can't show you the lovely pale blue fabric with pink daisy look flowers for the dress I am smocking for Arwen. I thought I would show you the small piece of smocking I did in an afternoon workshop when we lived in outback Bourke (NSW) 14 years ago. At the patchwork group I went to on Wednesdays for a few years, in Bourke also, we had a small embroidery workshop as well and I learnt the basic stitches.
So for the moment you will have to imagine my smocking the lovely dress for Arwen.Don't forget to visit Amy for more Craft Basket Wednesday crafts.

OH!!! I wish I knew how to smock! It is so lovely. There is another blog where this lady has been working on smocking.... Posie Gets Cozy? I think! It is so pretty!
