This is the Lamb Cake we made for our Easter Celebration.
How I would have loved to have a moulded lamb cake tin or even a butter sculpture like these ones Jessica made but we haven't. Every year I think I would like one but always leave it too late to order a special pan to cook it in.
However we do have very talented children and after cooking just a plain butter cake Autumn cut out a lamb shape and we iced it (really we creamed it with whipped cream) and then she put little tips off icing on for the wool and added some fudge sauce to make the face and tail.
I think it looks terrific and it certainly tasted great.
Thank you Autumn for such a great job.
