In today’s busy and aggressive society mothers at home are not given much encouragement to be committed to their role in being home.
In my weekly 'Hearts for Home' post I am encouraging myself and others to commit to thinking about what 4-6 things we can do each week to bring our thoughts, prayers and actions to keeping our 'Hearts for Home'.
I am praying that a spirit of gentleness, generosity in thoughts and time along with loveliness and grace would lead us to be all that God wants us to be.
I pray also that each person involved in 'Hearts for Home' would also pray for any others involved as well.
May you be blessed by this initiative. I pray it brings you and your family many blessings.
So each week list 4-6 things you will commit to that will keep your "Hearts for Home'.
Please leave a you name and a link to your blog (if you don't have one just leave your list in the comment box) and perhaps a comment so we can all see and encourage each other.
If you would like, add the 'Hearts for Home' logo to your side bar as a reminder of your goals.
God Bless you this week.
♥ Please leave a link to your Hearts for Home Edition on the Mister Linky at the end of the post, so we can all come and visit.
I would also appreciate you linking back here too.☺ ♥ ♥
I also have decided I need to print out my list so I can constantly refer to it and therefore keep it in my mind. I also need to have it put up where I can see it constantly.
My list for the 19th October is ♥ ♥
1.We have started a new chore list for each person and I am half way through a cleaning roster that will rotate the house every three weeks. However with the older four going away on Friday we will see how this works out initially.
2.We seem to have caught a coughing/cold again. I hope we can nip this one quickly and the older ones don't get it to go away with. Lots of cuddles and reading...again.
3. Make sure I have everything ready for the children to leave on Friday Help them pack and check of the needs for all activities. They are going to stay with friends first and then the Pilgrimage. We have NEVER had so many of our children away for SOOOO long. Life changes so quickly!!!
4. Finish the girls skirts by Thursday at the latest. We have been working on these whenever we can.
5. Enjoy the antics of our little kittens and seeing how the children LOVE them. We also need to think about finding a home for two of them.
6. Pray for a door to open with selling the house and buying in the right place. Be open to the right opportunity as it comes along. Please God soon!!
Last week I wasn't able to comment on a couple of Blogs: Namely Judy and Trish. It wouldn't bring up the word verification for me. I did enjoy your entries but just couldn't leave my comment. Sorry about that I tried at least 3 times.
Blessings to you and your homes,
I wish I could take your little kittens. I'm sure they are so cute.
ReplyDeleteDear Gae, I do hope and pray your family gets over the coughs/cold bug quickly this time! Four children away will seem a little strange I'm sure. Sounds like a busy but exciting time coming up for you all:-)

Dear Trish,
ReplyDeleteI just tried to leave a comment again and it wouldn't let me again. I tried all the options and no verification came up and it wasn't published. Hmmm I don't know what is going on
Blessings
Gae
Gae, I just changed my comment form to the popup one and was able to leave a comment via my Angel Wings blog. I hope you will find it ok now. I'm not sure what could've been the problem-not very savvy with things yet:-(
ReplyDeleteThanks for telling me you were having trouble! God bless..Trish
I hope you're family is beginning to feel better and that your children have a wonderful weekend with friends. My computer was down this week but I am so happy to be back and look forward to joining in again next week. ~Alana~
