Hearts for Home 5th October ♥

In today’s busy and aggressive society mothers at home are not given much encouragement to be committed to their role in being home.

In my weekly 'Hearts for Home' post I am encouraging myself and others to commit to thinking about what 4-6 things we can do each week to bring our thoughts, prayers and actions to keeping our 'Hearts for Home'.

I am praying that a spirit of gentleness, generosity in thoughts and time along with loveliness and grace would lead us to be all that God wants us to be.

I pray also that each person involved in 'Hearts for Home' would also pray for any others involved as well.

May you be blessed by this initiative. I pray it brings you and your family many blessings.

So each week list 4-6 things you will commit to that will keep your "Hearts for Home'.
Please leave a you name and a link to your blog (if you don't have one just leave your list in the comment box) and perhaps a comment so we can all see and encourage each other.

If you would like, add the 'Hearts for Home' logo to your side bar as a reminder of your goals.
God Bless you this week.

♥ Please leave a link to your Hearts for Home Edition on the Mister Linky at the end of the post, so we can all come and visit.
I would also appreciate you linking back here too.☺ ♥ ♥

I also have decided I need to print out my list so I can constantly refer to it and therefore keep it in my mind. I also need to have it put up where I can see it constantly.

My list for the 5th October is ♥ ♥

1. To write out a list of the 5? most important things to do with the little ones each day.

2. Keep working on those skirts with the girls and Arwen's cross stitch.

3. I have been without a car for a few weeks now and find that the errands that need doing during the week, have not been so important. I love not running out all the time and hope when I get the car again that I can keep this up,(that my errand people can still pick up at the end of the day).
It really means a better running day at the end of the day.

4. Read outside, play outside on sunny days.

5.Work out a more definite activity based programme for Corbyn and re focus on Moran and her sensory issues. It is sooooooooooooo easy to get busy and not do this.

6. To spend individual time with each of the children especially this week.

Blessings to you and your homes,

Good morning Gae! Sorry you are still not feeling too well-more prayers going up for you. Are you having school holidays now? Your week sounds busy but cross stitching and reading outside sounds wonderful!
Oh yes, I hope for your sake the errands pick up system keeeps working for you too. My dearest friend has 6 children and she spends a good deal of time in the van, running hither and thither and getting most frustrated about it at times. The interruption to a homeschooling day can set her goals back but, sad to say, a lot of folk don't seem to take that into account. Well you take care dear lady and enjoy that sunshine :-)

Gae, I just saw that you are expecting number 12 child! You are amazing! I can see how you would be feeling a little run down lately- I always think the first trimester is the hardest.

This linky thing is a great idea! I will participate sometime. Good luck getting all your homeschooling in order!

I was without a car all of August and most of September. I found myself getting used to it quite quickly. I had it for a week and my husbands car broke so I am without for the most part now as well. I'm hoping his will be fixed soon.

I'm linking up with you this week! Sometimes I pretend I don't have a vehicle and stay home, and my days are much more focused. Hope you are having a good week.

OH MY! I just read in the comments above that you are expecting!

HOW MARVELOUS and WONDERFUL!!!! You and ERIN at the same time?!?!?!?
What a JOY!

So glad that the car issue has helped you slow down and find rhythm in your evenings!

God bless you as you too, strive for "Mommy time" with the kids this week (I mentioned this for my little Benny as well)

Thanks for helping us grow in our vocations as wives and mothers!

When are you due?
