In today’s busy and aggressive society mothers at home are not given much encouragement to be committed to their role in being home.
In my weekly 'Hearts for Home' post I am encouraging myself and others to commit to thinking about what 4-6 things we can do each week to bring our thoughts, prayers and actions to keeping our 'Hearts for Home'.
I am praying that a spirit of gentleness, generosity in thoughts and time along with loveliness and grace would lead us to be all that God wants us to be.
I pray also that each person involved in 'Hearts for Home' would also pray for any others involved as well.
May you be blessed by this initiative. I pray it brings you and your family many blessings.
So each week list 4-6 things you will commit to that will keep your "Hearts for Home'.
Please leave a you name and a link to your blog (if you don't have one just leave your list in the comment box) and perhaps a comment so we can all see and encourage each other.
If you would like, add the 'Hearts for Home' logo to your side bar as a reminder of your goals.
God Bless you this week.
♥ Please leave a link to your Hearts for Home Edition on the Mister Linky at the end of the post, so we can all come and visit.
I would also appreciate you linking back here too.☺ ♥ ♥
I also have decided I need to print out my list so I can constantly refer to it and therefore keep it in my mind. I also need to have it put up where I can see it constantly.
My list for the 21st December is ♥ ♥
1. To concentrate on celebrating the birth of our Saviour and not get stressed by the things to do. Keep a balance between being a Martha and a Mary.
2. Finish up the last of our cookies and cakes, and start the Gingerbread house.
3. Help the children with the last of their presents they are making. Give them the time they need so they don't become stressed too.
4. Keep a welcoming and cheerful spirit looking for ways to encourage and uplift those within my family but also anyone I meet outside the home as well.
5. Get the stone fruit for the Midnight feast. This is such a special time for the children. They love getting the cherries from the orchard up the road.
6. Keep an eye on Moran and her fatigue levels. When we had our regular check up yesterday with her Pediatrician a discovered a couple of things.
1. When she had her blood test on 1st December, this is regular one to check her epillium levels. It was discovered she had Glandular Fever. Don't ask me how she got it and I am not sure if she is contagious etc.
2. She has also grown taller over the last 6 months but has lost weight. She is only a skinny minny so this needs keeping an eye on too.

Girl! You have so arrived! I will try the four to six weekly things, too! I'm not exactly sure how to make it work with your site though- 8o/
Prayers for your daughter's good health!
I just love number four on your list and would very much like to hear more about number five!
Blessings to your dear family!
I am finishing up the last of the presents I am making as well..and I know exactly what you mean about not letting myself get stressed about it. I will keep Moran in my prayers.
God bless you dear Gae! I hope all your final preparations go well and you don't stress too much.
You are always encouraging, welcoming and cheerful and I thank you for your sweet friendship!
Praying Moran picks up and the glandular fever resolves quickly. Have had kids go down with that before and be fatigued for a long time after. Healing prayers going up!
I know your heart is focused on our dear Lord Jesus and I know you bless His Sacred Heart by the deep love you show for Him. You are an inspiration and a dear sister in Christ! Many beautiful blessings to you and your family for a most holy and happy Christmas :-) love..Trish
