Blog Changes...........

It is hard sometimes to know if people are reading me in a reader of coming directly to my blog to see what  is new and maybe interesting in our lives.

I know for myself I LOVE to visit actual blogs and see the beautiful images and visit in a more personal way.
So I love to notice what may be different about the blog and feel that I am keeping that more personal relationship alive, if you know what I mean.

And because I have made some changes here I thought I would give you all an update on what you may not notice.

First off I am very proud of my new header and links on the right hand side of my blog that will take you directly to an area of specific writing.
Below is an example of the link and this one will link to all mum posts on Mothering.
I have made some of these up for my Favorite links all with different images on them.

It was only after I made these that I made the new header to match it and still being in the creative mood I made a little comment image too :)

As I am so thrilled and pleased with how these turned out I would like to share with you all a tutorial on how to do something similar for your own blogs if you are at all interested.

Now what else is new on the blog: well a bit of organising over the last week.

The first thing I had to do was to un-follow all the blogs I have followed over the years to get rid of old ones that no longer exist and ones that had been inactive for over a year. Of course I could not do this the easy way so it took me ages to do this and I am only now starting to re-follow the blogs again.
The blogs I follow are on the left had side bar!!

I don't now if you have a like to see what I am reading else where but I have "What I am pondering' widget on the right hand side so you can  see interesting articles.

A while ago I added social media icons to my right sidebar too and was pretty happy with how this went too.

Instagram: what can I say, except I LOVE IT and so  I have links to it in the social media and an link of photos on the blog again on the right hand side.

We have a new family photo up and new individual photos of our most precious blessings....our children  (right hand side again)

I have changed some font sizing and colours and deleted some images and lists as well as links to keep only the things that I really like, because I really decorate and make it so I like it, just as I would our home,  even though I value each of my readers and your visits. I honestly try to reflect in my blog here who and what I am in real life.

Of course my theme colours of pink and hearts are still everywhere and that will never change for me.
