We made a 'Fancy Nancy' Arch!!!!

Getting back to the Fancy Nancy Birthday posts, I couldn't move on completely with out sharing this little gem with you all.

In the book  Fancy Nancy and the Fabulous Fashion Boutique  I loved the balloon arch they had for Jo Jo's birthday and been waiting for the right opportunity to try to recreate this.

Of course a special little girl's 5th birthday was perfect for this.

So we bought a helium balloon kit to blow up the balloons. We have never had helium balloons before so this was indeed a huge treat and very exciting for all

Chief balloon blowers were Vellvin and Rogan.

Prior to this we ad made paper chains for the balloons to pull up

We then tied the paper chains to less than impressive canned goods from our pantry

Tied up the helium balloons to pull the paper chains up and did some mine rearranging to have them how we wanted them.............

And created our Archway.
Oh yes we were pretty happy with how it turned out!
