Blessed to have a Full Life

I did not mean to disappear for so long!!!
I have several partly completed posts in my drafts folder.
I attempted a return with yet more partially completed posts ......and them I just left them.
They may make a recovery out of said folder as some of them are really sweet ones I want to remember.

However when contemplating the fact that I was not blogging here I realised I just could not fit one more thing into my life.
Into my very blessed life with my husband and children.
Living our lives on a daily basis and then doing the same things over and over.

No we did not go anywhere exciting, no we did not indulge in lots of activities (believe me I had many plans for our break form Lessons over Easter break) we simply just ran out of time each day.

Our days were full of living, loving and being.

No, it was not all exciting and happy. In fact we have undergone tremendous struggles lately.
Spiritual, emotional, financial and physical ones back to back or we would be overcoming one and another one pops up, you know just to keep us on our toes.
In fact I have to agree that I wonder along with St Teresa of Avila when she says this about God “If this is how you treat your friends, no wonder you have so many enemies.”

In amongst this though there have been those precious moments with our family that just lift the spirit and help re focus my thoughts on what it is that is so important to me-
That man I married 27 years ago and the 12 children we have been blessed to raise for the glory of God. The same ones we prayerfully parent and agonise over each day.
The same ones that really are at the heart of our Universe as we hopefully 'fit them for heaven'

So yes, even though I have been MIA here I have been fulfilling my calling, staying true to my vocation of Stay at Home Wife, Mother and Keeper of our Hearth.

And in the words of Maxwell Smart, Agent 86...........and loving it!!

Blessings to you and your homes,
