Finding Time..............

It is easy in life to find time for the emergency situations that come up and respond to those in a timely, calm and efficient manner.

It is easy to respond when we are called to do an important chore or errand for someone that requires our immediate attention.

It is easy to do the things that we want to do for our own recreational pursuits.

It is often less easy to do those repetitious activities that reoccur day in and day out.

How easy it is to NOT spend the time making memories and creating relationships with those loved ones in our care.

How easy it is to think and then let those very urgent, important and everyday activities define our lives and then not allow 'wiggle room' for those opportunities that we have to make a difference in the everyday.

Time to read together, to bake together, tend animals together, laugh and have a joke together. To spend time truly listening and being present so that we can look back and KNOW that the most important and urgent activities in our lives were the ones we created in the everyday sameness of our lives with our families.
