For the past couple of years I have made this moisturising cream as our only cream to be used for after bath or shower moisturising.
It is also the cream we go to for regular moisturising of feet, hands and faces (unless we use coconut oil for faces.0
I do have some specialty creams that we use, our Chocolate, Peppermint and Honey Lip Balm for cracked or dry lips or sore noses when colds are around.
I have also made what Saxon has named "Scam Cream' as it is a 'super duper' heal all cream for severe skin conditions like eczema and other rash type conditions.
He wants me to hold on to that recipe as a family secret :)
The other one that I love is a cream I made up when some of our children managed to get 'school sores' and we healed those without any anti-biotiotics or chemist creams in a matter of days.
However this one is a great general moisturising cream we use daily:
It is quick and easy to make.
Very good value for money and of course I know EVERYTHING that goes into it, so no nasty chemicals or additives
In a glass jar in a pot of water place the below ingredients and melt them over a gentle low heat -
1 cup of Coconut Oil
1 Cup Olive Oil
6 tbs grated beeswax
When Melted add-
1 tsp raw honey
pierce 3 tablets of Vitamin E oil and add
pour a 'dlop' of calendula infused oil (not the salve part but the infusion oil part) into the mixture
pour a 'dlop of chamomile infused oil (same idea as above but using chamomile instead to infuse the oil)into the mixture
Mix together and then place into your containers and let cool.
Blessings to you and your homes,
