As many of you know, we as a family have been praying for our house to sell and then for the rest of us to move interstate with Stephen to live there.
However, it seems that God, whom we do trust and believe has a plan for our family, has finally given us some answers.
Not the answers we were expecting but definitive all the same.
God answers in His own way and time.
Last Wednesday week Stephen was in Melbourne for work, and as he finished his business there, happened to find himself walking past St Patrick's Cathedral - a strong urge came over him to go cross the busy street and go into the Cathedral and spend some time in prayer, which he did, and as he departed he lit a votive candle for our intentions.
The very next day an unexpected opportunity arose for Stephen and his boss to get together and negotiate a way out of his employment contract so that he could return home, with enough cash in hand to carry us for a while.
So my husband came home just over a week ago on the overnight ship with his car and all the the gear he had accumulated over the time he had been working in Victoria. A big surprise and a sudden change, but what's more, he had 2 job interviews last week, and has had 1 offer already.
Praise be to God - our family is back together and we are living and planning the next phase in our lives.
I thank the many kind and wonderful people who have prayed for us and with us in the past.
I would humbly ask that you might be willing to keep our family in your prayers as we go through the process of re-forming our family into one cohesive unit. I know this is going to involve a lot of work, as 41/2 years has certainly involved a lot of coping changes (that we had to do to manage without Stephen) and the children have developed and changed too as they have gotten older.
The excitement of our children was a wonder to behold and in our usual fashion Posters and welcome home items were made.
The poster at the start of this post was put up in our kitchen area where we hang birthday cards etc.
Moran made this one and placed it on the front wall of the house at the front door.
Myffwyn drew this one ( Umm, actually I am not sure what it means!)
Rogan's welcome home Daddy of course, features his bunny he got for his birthday.
We are loving and adjusting to this new and exciting phase again---one family together!!
Blessings,
