In today’s busy and aggressive society mothers at home are not given much encouragement to be committed to their role in being home.
In my weekly 'Hearts for Home' post I am encouraging myself and others to commit to thinking about what 4-6 things we can do each week to bring our thoughts, prayers and actions to keeping our 'Hearts for Home'.
I am praying that a spirit of gentleness, generosity in thoughts and time along with loveliness and grace would lead us to be all that God wants us to be.
I pray also that each person involved in 'Hearts for Home' would also pray for any others involved as well.
May you be blessed by this initiative. I pray it brings you and your family many blessings.
So each week list 4-6 things you will commit to that will keep your "Hearts for Home'.
Please leave a you name and a link to your blog (if you don't have one just leave your list in the comment box) and perhaps a comment so we can all see and encourage each other.
If you would like, add the 'Hearts for Home' logo to your side bar as a reminder of your goals.
God Bless you this week.
♥ Please leave a link to your Hearts for Home Edition on the Mister Linky at the end of the post, so we can all come and visit.
I would also appreciate you linking back here too.☺ ♥ ♥
I also have decided I need to print out my list so I can constantly refer to it and therefore keep it in my mind. I also need to have it put up where I can see it constantly.

ReplyDeleteGae once again I cannot tell you how much I appreciate Your Hearts for Home posts ☺
ReplyDeleteIt is such a blessing to have the reminder and yesterday when your blog post popped up I was just online talking with me gf .
She has just begun into a 2 yr stint at college . putting children into school etc.
I told her of my experince attending college . how I was sitting writing an essay on the neglect of children . It was 12am and I had a deadline . pressure to write etc.
I started to cry actually. It came to me , that in order to write an essay on neglect and go into the feild of youth care .I was indeed going to have to neglect our own children . we had 4 at the time. I meditated and even though I was no where near admiting I was spiritual I know now it was prayer ☺
I just had this feeling I was to quit school . after commiting two yrs though ? how could I ?
within the week I was assigned a new human resource councellor . He was an arrogant fellow full of himself. I was told I would not be able to recieve funding any longer towards my courses . In order to continue I must take out loans . !
So that was it I knew I could never pay back loans on a youthcare worker salary etc. I finsihed my first term of my 3rd yr and that was it . I've been home ever since .
I made that sacrifice .I know many single parents cannot . I know now the secular world with cost of living has made it close to impossible for a single income family to make it .
God blessed us with me being able to stay home . After that dh & I got back together . Our seperation had totally been out of selfish reasons ☺
You could keep my gf in prayer ;-)
Thanks so much Gae
