In today’s busy and aggressive society mothers at home are not given much encouragement to be committed to their role in being home.
In my weekly 'Hearts for Home' post I am encouraging myself and others to commit to thinking about what 4-6 things we can do each week to bring our thoughts, prayers and actions to keeping our 'Hearts for Home'.
I am praying that a spirit of gentleness, generosity in thoughts and time along with loveliness and grace would lead us to be all that God wants us to be.
I pray also that each person involved in 'Hearts for Home' would also pray for any others involved as well.
May you be blessed by this initiative. I pray it brings you and your family many blessings.
So each week list 4-6 things you will commit to that will keep your "Hearts for Home'.
Please leave a you name and a link to your blog (if you don't have one just leave your list in the comment box) and perhaps a comment so we can all see and encourage each other.
If you would like, add the 'Hearts for Home' logo to your side bar as a reminder of your goals.
May God Bless you this week.
♥ Please leave a link to your Hearts for Home Edition on the Mister Linky at the end of the post, so we can all come and visit.
I would also appreciate you linking back here too.☺ ♥ ♥
Holiday Mode- 4th October
Hello Dear Friends,
We truly are in holiday mode here at the moment. We are enjoying the relaxed pace and visiting new and interesting places, visiting new friends we have made and spending a lot of time just 'hanging out'.
Like I said last week our home is our family and we are living this time being aware of how close a family circle we are and how much we enjoy each others company.
We will be making final preparations for Autumn's Deb Ball this week as it is on Saturday and she along with Braedon who is partnering his sweet Anna-Lisa (who is making her debut as well) so the excitement is very high for us all as we look forward to this special event. Please keep all the Debs and their partners in your prayers as well, that they have a beautiful and memorable night.
I am continuing to relax and am sure our precious Trahaearn is putting on more weight. This seems to really support the fact that I need not to be so busy but continue to put baby time ahead of all other interests.
Praying you all find peace and joy in your own homes this week,
OH what a lovely time your family must be having! So glad for you...I can sense the ease and relaxation in your tone...and so glad your wee one is putting on a few lbs!
ReplyDeleteI wish we still had the tradition of a Deb Ball here...it sounds so elegant and lovely; celebrating the femininity and maturing or your dear beloved daughters! (I am sure your son will make a most handsome escort!)
God's blessings to you all as you drink in this wonderful and special FAMILY TIME!
What a great idea! I love being a SAHM but sometimes I do feel guilty about not working. Maybe I should encourage myself! Thanks for this great link party!!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I'm a new follower from Catholic Mothers Online. :o)

Dear Gae, I'm so glad I came back to your blog and found this. I have been meditating on what it means to be a stay at home mom. I've been meaning to blog about it. I will hopefully get my thoughts together to share with you next Tuesday. Thanks for your blog. It is a blessing.
ReplyDeleteGae I'm so glad you are still enjoying your holiday time away!
ReplyDeleteI hope the plans for the deb dress go well and all turns out lovely for the day.
Trahaearn must be lapping up all his cuddling time with mum :-)
Good to hear he's doing so well!
Well..enjoy each wonderful moment with the family dear friend.
