In today’s busy and aggressive society mothers at home are not given much encouragement to be committed to their role in being home.
In my weekly 'Hearts for Home' post I am encouraging myself and others to commit to thinking about what 4-6 things we can do each week to bring our thoughts, prayers and actions to keeping our 'Hearts for Home'.
I am praying that a spirit of gentleness, generosity in thoughts and time along with loveliness and grace would lead us to be all that God wants us to be.
I pray also that each person involved in 'Hearts for Home' would also pray for any others involved as well.
May you be blessed by this initiative. I pray it brings you and your family many blessings.
So each week list 4-6 things you will commit to that will keep your "Hearts for Home'.
Please leave a you name and a link to your blog (if you don't have one just leave your list in the comment box) and perhaps a comment so we can all see and encourage each other.
If you would like, add the 'Hearts for Home' logo to your side bar as a reminder of your goals.
God Bless you this week.
♥ Please leave a link to your Hearts for Home Edition on the Mister Linky at the end of the post, so we can all come and visit.
I would also appreciate you linking back here too.☺ ♥ ♥
I also have decided I need to print out my list so I can constantly refer to it and therefore keep it in my mind. I also need to have it put up where I can see it constantly.
My list for the 30th November is ♥ ♥
I was very pleased with my results from last week. I think I actually achieved everything except outside activities for Arwen, my number 6.
This week I will attempt the following~
1. To be diligent in our St Andrew Novena. This is a commitment for a long period of time and sometimes the daily commitment can seem intense.
2. Be consistent in our working through the plans the children made for Advent. We still haven't made daily lists but have a general idea of what we are doing.
3. Finish making our pudding we still haven't finished from Stir up Sunday
4. Help the children with their Christmas making projects.
5. Look at ordering any presents I can online to save 'outside the home' shopping and research any other presents to achieve value for money for the gifts we buy.
6. Our little Arwen is such an outside girl, always pulling me out side for walks and flower picking. I would like to organise it so we do more things outside for her to do, but also for us to adjust some of our more 'moveable' activities to be done outside.

Dear Trish,
Thnak you for your lovely and encouraging words. I am blessed by them.
Just checked the linky and it seems fine now.
Hope you can put your lovely post in for this week.
Jumping over to look at your entry

Gae
Hi Gae, thanks for your kind comment! I will try to explain how I got the background on my blog.
1. I went to my dashboard and clicked on "Design"
2. then on the "Template Designer"
3. from there I went to "Background"
4. clicked "remove image" to clear my previous background, which was also a Blogger background
5. then I clicked the small arrow which takes you to a selection of Blogger backgrounds to choose from
6. I clicked on an image I liked and then clicked the yellow "Done" button to see what it looked like on my blog
7. decided it was good and clicked the orange "Apply To Blog" button in the top right of the page.
I'm not sure, but I think if you added your background using the Gadget widget, you may need to go back to "Add a Gadget" and remove it from there first, before going through the above steps.
I'm not very savvy with it at all. Learning by trial and error!lol!
I hope this helps you somehow my snowy-Christmas-kindred-spirit friend :-) ..Trish
It looks like your week has thoughts turned towards Christmas just as mine are. May it be a truly blessed week. ~Alana~
I always enjoy seeing the lovely plans and projects your family endeavors to do together ~ apologies for getting my meme entry in the wrong position for the week on my blog...I really messed it all up this week, LOL Thank you, as always, for helping me to better myself as wife, mother, teacher, homemaker:)
Hello again Gae :)
Your thoughts are definitely turning to the birth of Our Savior! What joy this time brings.
I pray that you are able to achieve everything that you can...but take each time and savor the moment.
In His Love,
M.
