In today’s busy and aggressive society mothers at home are not given much encouragement to be committed to their role in being home.
In my weekly 'Hearts for Home' post I am encouraging myself and others to commit to thinking about what 4-6 things we can do each week to bring our thoughts, prayers and actions to keeping our 'Hearts for Home'.
I am praying that a spirit of gentleness, generosity in thoughts and time along with loveliness and grace would lead us to be all that God wants us to be.
I pray also that each person involved in 'Hearts for Home' would also pray for any others involved as well.
May you be blessed by this initiative. I pray it brings you and your family many blessings.
So each week list 4-6 things you will commit to that will keep your "Hearts for Home'.
Please leave a you name and a link to your blog (if you don't have one just leave your list in the comment box) and perhaps a comment so we can all see and encourage each other.
If you would like, add the 'Hearts for Home' logo to your side bar as a reminder of your goals.
God Bless you this week.
♥ Please leave a link to your Hearts for Home Edition on the Mister Linky at the end of the post, so we can all come and visit.
I would also appreciate you linking back here too.☺ ♥ ♥
My list for the 5th April is ♥ ♥
1. Following my less is more theme still.....and enjoying it.
2. Work on my Tasha Tudor shawl and the Easter bunnies and do some Crocheting with Autumn
3. I will continue to make these little Bunny's for Easter and work on the new baby's cross-stitch as well this week.
4. Buy all the things I need to make Corbyn's birthday presents and start making them.
5. Make up some stories to go with the more open ended toys and puppets for Arwen and the bigger ones. The children are enjoying doing 'round the table' adding stories and I want to encourage this.
6. Look at what I can continue to commit in my own heart to make the rest of this Lenten season more productive for myself and therefor my family.
An added bonus is we are expecting Kynan home on Friday for three weeks....yippee!!

Hi Gae,
Sorry I haven't been around lately, but I've been adjusting to being a mom. As you know its something I've waited a long time for and I almost came to the point where I thought I can't do it. But it does get easier and I just had to let go and be.
I LOVE Tasha Tudor, she was such a wonderful lady. I have been looking her up recently,, and hope to own a few of her books in the near future. I cant wait to see your finished projects:) God Bless!

Hi ladies. This is my first time to participate in Hearts for Home. Moms truly are the heart of the home. We definitely have to stay plugged in to our faith and help one another on this journey. Many blessings to you and your families! Love, Lori
