I have had this periodically over the last couple of years.
I'm not a happy camper with this - starting to think of limited range of movement as I age and seriously that is not something I am happy with.
One of the ways I am dealing with the immediate pain is with this Muscle rub I created earlier in the year. I have some other long term strategies for relief/cure (if possible)
This is only for adults as it has a few ingredients that really are not for young children: namely the Black Pepper, and Wintergreen (but these are the best for me ingredients).
I would leave those out for the use on children
My Muscle Rub Recipe-
A generous squeeze of Oil of Emu into a small container
Then I add my home made Infused Oil’s:
13 drops of Comfrey
6 drops of Calendula
4 Drops of Chamomile
Next Essential oils:
18 drops of Wintergreen
6 drops of Lavender
5 drops of Arnica
3 drops of Eucalyptus
3 drops of Black Pepper
Mix together and rub on affected area.
I use as often as needed which generally is twice a dayBlessings to you and your homes,

Dear Gae,
That looks like a good recipe! Those muscle aches come more and more, don't they? Goldenrod oil really helps me when my arms and shoulders get stiff from holding babies.
Love,
Marqueta
Sorry to hear you have been in pain. i hope this helps!
