Small Successes 36

FaithButton
It’s important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that.

1. We actually finished A week Along the Alphabet Path. I even worked out rough plans for B week and we have done some of this as well.

2. We had a very impromptu Bilbo and Frodo Birthday Celebration on Tuesday. As far as the children were concerned it was a great day.

3. I had a 2 1/2 hour interview with the Child and Adolescent Mental Health on Monday. We still hadn't covered everything they wanted to know and I had filled out a huge amount of forms before hand as well.
Am I the only one who finds this very invasive and unsettling. Because I did and I was very proud of myself at the end of this when I told them I would not "allow" them to judge our home situation in regards to our Faith, Family size or Homeschooling
I only say this because having done a little bit of training in this a College I know the viewpoint (unless this has changed over the years) is from a Humanistic point of view. I know it is important for Moran to get the treatment she needs but I will not be judged for our beliefs in our raising of her.

So my actual Success was actually being able to go and be WAY OUT of my comfort zone.

Bonus 4. I have really been enjoying sitting and playing and watching Arwen develop in her control with sitting up.
The little ones have been giving me and I them lots of cuddles, a sure sign that all is well,( well as good as it gets without Daddy here)

Well this is my list for this week. To enjoy some other wonderful Small Successes visit Faith and Family this week.

Blessings

Thank you for the comment! You have a beautiful family! I will be praying for you to be together with your husband again soon. :(
And I know what you mean about finding success in surviving something out of the comfort zone! Good for you.

What great successes for you! Especially being out of your comfort zone and setting your boundries.

I am very impressed with your work along the alphabet path too. In a large family this is not always easy to coordinate and make happen. I know and I only have 7 (soon to be 8)

Thank you for sharing your successes and may God bless you the rest of your week!
