Last year we made this in preparation for this Advent.
Kynan made the base and painted it . I made the slip on cover and Autumn made the Nativity figures. WE use animals from our collection for the stable animals.
It is for the younger children to play with and I am really pleased with how it turned out and with the team effort in putting it together
Autumn also made the bag to keep the Nativity figures in for storage when they are not being used. The top of the cave slides out of the cane uprights that stick into holes drilled into the timber base, and it stores flat for convenience.

How neat!!! I have been wanting to make a nativity set, but I put off making Christmas gifts till too late this year! I am doing nothing but working the yarn, lol.
