Tea Talk

I am so determined to join in this wonderful theme this week that Ruth Hosts. Every week I try and miss it so .......

I'm having.... instant white coffee with sugar. My mug is a large Jemima Puddle-Duck. I originally bought one for the older girls but fell in love with it..so I just had to have one. It holds a good quantity of coffee.

I'm feeling....
a little unsettled after talking to our son who is away and needing some guidance and input on things.

On my mind....
is Emily Barnes's book The Spirit of Loveliness and how I can immerse my self in this theme. Also thinking about A Woman after God's Heart
by Elizabeth George, after recommending this one to Judy.
Both these books have been instrumental in helping me grow in my role as a wife, mummy and homemaker.

From Emilie's book( I have no author for the quote) ~
"We should be led to God by the joy of our lives as well as by the sorrow,
by the light as well as the darkness,
by human fellowship as well as by human loneliness."

Thank you for allowing me to have tea with you all.
I pray you each enjoy your own "Tea Talks."

Blessings,

Hello Gae,
I'm so delighted to see your name on the list. Thank you for joining Tea Talk. I can imagine how cute your Jemima mug is! That would make tea time more cozy. Your books sound interesting. I shall have them on my wish list.

I'll be remembering your son in my prayer tonight.

May god's peace and joy continue to abound in your home, and His protection be upon each family member.

Dear Gae,

That must be such a cute mug!

I have both of those books and they are just wonderful and encouraging ~ especially the Elizabeth George's.

Your son will be in my prayers - remember that God is in complete control of any situation!

Blessings to you dear friend, May Our Lord Jesus Christ continue to fill your home with peace,

Maria

thanks for visiting me. You have a beautiful Catholic family blog. I'm interested to read all the info on your sidebars, and all about your large family. Happy Feast Day of Our Lady of Lourdes.

Hi, very nice to tea with you this week.
Your question about my coffee, it's not a mix just plain coffee grounds, with cream.
I love Emilie Barnes. I have several of her books. The spirit of Loveliness is beautiful, but is one book I had to sale back when I was pressed for some extra cash.
Blessings,
Katia

I will say a prayer for your son.

This seems kind of dorky after that, but what kind of insant coffee do you use? I wonder if it would be different here. Since pregnant I need to drink decaf and I don't want two coffee pots on the counter. We have a major caffiene junkie in the house (though she would totally deny it, lol). I thought maybe I could try instant, but was too nervous to spend money on it in case it is nasty! lol

Tea Talk...wish I'd thought of that, I will have to visit Ruth.

Your blog is very nice and so full of information!

And I agree...your Jemima mug sounds so cute, it may be time for a new mug for me :)

Please keep me posted on the Children's Book fair next month!
