In today’s busy and aggressive society mothers at home are not given much encouragement to be committed to their role in being home.
In my weekly 'Hearts for Home' post I am encouraging myself and others to commit to thinking about what 4-6 things we can do each week to bring our thoughts, prayers and actions to keeping our 'Hearts for Home'.
I am praying that a spirit of gentleness, generosity in thoughts and time along with loveliness and grace would lead us to be all that God wants us to be.
I pray also that each person involved in 'Hearts for Home' would also pray for any others involved as well.
May you be blessed by this initiative. I pray it brings you and your family many blessings.
So each week list 4-6 things you will commit to that will keep your "Hearts for Home'.
Please leave a you name and a link to your blog (if you don't have one just leave your list in the comment box) and perhaps a comment so we can all see and encourage each other.
If you would like, add the 'Hearts for Home' logo to your side bar as a reminder of your goals.
God Bless you this week.
♥ Please leave a link to your Hearts for Home Edition on the Mister Linky at the end of the post, so we can all come and visit.
I would also appreciate you linking back here too.☺ ♥ ♥
I also have decided I need to print out my list so I can constantly refer to it and therefore keep it in my mind. I also need to have it put up where I can see it constantly.
My list for the 29th June is ♥ ♥
1. Spend as much time outside as we can during the non-rainy, freezing winds and generally cold days.
2. Start our old 'bush rambles' again and look at the natural surroundings in this Winter light.
3. Continue on with my preparation for
St. Louis de Montfort's Way: Total Consecration on the Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel 16 July.
4. Really concentrate on getting our learning back on schedule Including the Confirmation and First Holy Communion preparation. We decided after lots of consideration to have Moran prepare for First Holy communion as well, to the best of her ability. She is very excited by this.
5. Rising early for all so we can have family breakfast before Stephen goes off to work.
6. Try to have a better idea on our Feast days for the theme for month of July : Month of the Precious Blood. I was terrible in living the liturgical year last month with our family.

Ohh Moran is making her FHC in July??
My ph is still out (an arsonist burnt our town's Telstra pit out and the optic cables are still being fixed, could be weeks still, but I now have internet, it was out for two days) so frustrating as I want to ring and catch up.
I love the idea of having a family breakfast. That would not have worked in my home as my husband is not a breakfast person and the kids left for school before he left for work. But, it would have been a nice chance for us all to spend some time together before heading out to start our days.
Here is my link as I don't see a linky in this post:

I LOVE the idea of rising early to enjoy breakfast with Stephen! I'm afraid we'd have to be up at 4:00 am to make that work here as Tom is up and going at 4:30!
Thank you for the reminder to celebrate and honor the month of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus:)
