I know many of you have finished with your Christmas cooking and the goodies that tend to go along with that but I have been meaning to share this recipe with you.
I had thought to share what a great Christmas gift it would be for those hard to pick for husbands and sons.
In fact the photo above is one of the ones Autumn gave to Kynan or Braedon.
To put it together (as a gift) you need a mug and a plastic bag within to place the dry ingredients (the wet ingredients of course need to added as you make it up).
Autumn and Eden who made one for Saxon each made hand made cards with the recipe on the back add tied it to the mug.
This is a recipe for one although you could share with a dear one, but frankly I think they should have a mug of their own.
Recipe~
4 Tablespoons of flour
4 Tablespoons of sugar
2 Tablespoons of cocoa
1 egg
3 Tablespoons of milk
3 Tablespoons of oil
3 Tablespoons of chocolate chips (optional)
A small dash of Vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug.
Method~
Add dry ingredients to mug and mix will.
Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
Add chocolate chips if using and vanilla and mix again.
Put mug in microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 Watts
The cake will rise over the top of the mug.
Don't be concerned!!
Allow to cool a little and tip on to a plate if desired or eat out of mug.
You could add ice cream or cream to top it off and a decadent strawberry or two!!
ENJOY
Blessings to you and your homes,

Gae,
This sounds and looks delicious :)
In His Love,
Maria.
My mom and I love to make this recipe when we crave a quick chocolate fix! It's so simple and easy and is wonderful when just topped with powdered (confectioner's) sugar.
I'd never thought of making this into a gift using the dry ingredients, this is a great idea!
Hi Gae. I have the one titled Having a Mary Spirit but they are both good books by the same author. I have not read yours yet but want to when I finish mine. I have enjoyed this author very much.
Gae,
This sounds like a fun treat to make. My husband really likes sweets. He would probably like this one. :) Thanks for sharing it.
Blessings,
-Lady Rose
