This was a very simple feast this year as we are adjusting to two of our older children having started work in town and this requires a bit more organising as we now live out of town.
The dynamics of this is that we spend more time running around and need to coordinate with the work schedules.
So for the Solemnity of St Joseph we bought some cream filled eclairs and coloured some pictures and set our small feast table.
Quick and simple, our Autumn would have loved it.
We did manage to work through some of our other Easter preparations: making cards for everyone and starting the Crack Me Eggs, it really is one of the favourite Easter preparations we do as a family.
However it was a lovely simple day we enjoyed remembering the simple life of this most special saint.
