"Stir up our hearts, O Lord, to prepare the ways of Thine only-begotten Son, that through His coming we may be worthy to serve Thee with purified minds. Who livest and reignest, with God the Father, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end. Amen." ~ Prayer for Second Sunday in Advent
Well as we are entering this second week of Advent I am focusing on on the joys we have as a family.
This was especially evident today as after Mass we enjoyed time together kniting , sewing, playing outside with our little ones and watching the Christmas Carol movie. These were participated in by various degrees by our children with us.
As we plan for our coming week with the celebrations of St Nicholas and The Immaculate Conception this is a time for family bonding and the sharing of these celebrations of our Church Year.
I pray that you may continue your journey this week with much joy and peace as we come closer to the 'reason for the season' - Christmas and the birth of our Saviour.
Blessings to you and your homes,
