I have given very little thought to this feast day this year and it suddenly struck me that it marks the start of a couple of weeks of intense feast day celebrations.
So for now looking at Saturday, I think we will be focusing on ~
colouring in pictures,
making a row of angel folds,
making some felted angels,
read the story of St Michael in this book,
and some simple foods perhaps a cake of some sort.
If you are looking for more ideas than these simple ones I have written up plans in the past HERE
We have also clebrated by performing two plays in the past : The Battle for Heaven and Who Reigns Supreme?
Have a most blessed feast day of St Michael
Prayer~
Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
Blessings to you and your homes,
