Due to the over indulgence and sheer exhaustion on Easter Day we usually have it on Easter Monday.
This year being no exception, Stephen and I took the basket of small wrapped eggs and went outside to hide said eggs in the garden.
This year being in a new place we found we had to find new hiding places and frankly we had to limit the area due to the great possibilities.
As usual this year we had to pair up our 'littlies' with a bigger buddy to help look in the best places.
It certainly was lovely to see the children both young and old still scamper around to find the egg and bring them back to the basket to then be share out evenly among all gatherers.
It is amazing to me that this little tradition that is so easy to do and very quickly accomplished is one of the most looked forward to activities with the children. Honestly, until we do this the little ones are constantly
These truly are the times I cherish and hold fast to and think about daily as I treasure them in my heart.
Blessings to you and your homes,
