Treasured Moments 8

My dear friend Erin is hosting this new weekly theme for us to share in. Why not join in?????

From Erin--
Do you find yourself falling into a pattern of daily grind, skipping the 'fun' activities because you don't have time or lack energy?

Do creative arts, nature walks, drama, read alouds or spontaneous acts seem only a distant dream in your life?

Yet these Treasured Momentst> shared with loved ones uplift us, nurture our soul, remind us of the beauty and joy in our lives.

We want Treasured Moments for ourselves, for our children, for our families but how can we make it happen?

... Commitment ... Encouragement ... Support ... Ideas ... Plans.

I invite you to join us every Saturday and share your plans and ideas, your targets and goals and your stories ... your 'Treasured Moments'. In this way we may inspire one another, encourage ourselves and start achieving our dreams.

Well this week really has been a challenge with the children all quite sick but here a coup;e to share:

1. I spent time outside with Arwen on the hill watching the Moran Myffwyn and Corbyn going down the driveway on their bikes. We spent ages doing this and then they wanted to talk about the Copperhead Snakes ( one of which Kynan chopped up accidentally while Whipper-snipping) we had on the property last year near where we were and "where are they now" over and over again.

2. We actually enjoyed doing the feast day making activities for Michaelmas and St Therese. We tend to do this together and wile doing St Therese crafts and colouring we listened to The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe on CD.

3. I had a great time with the older girls finally getting ready for next week and our Orchard House Circle. I love spending time with these growing girls and hearing their opinions on what we are talking about. I am so looking forward to spending this time with them and learning together.

4. The older children spent time exploring the property. Going through uncharted terrain together, making a map of the 'land' and then playing board games together. I joy to see them still do this together

So that is all I have to share this week in Treasured Moments. Don't forget to visit Erin for more Treasured Moments

Blessings,
