Welcome to my blog. My name is Gae and I am blessed to be wife to my always loving and special man in my life. We have also been given by the grace of God 11 very close and loving, as well as talented and imaginative children. I pray your time visiting here will be refreshing, as if we were very old and dear friends getting together and chatting about the everyday things that make our lives so enjoyable and special. I cannot think of any thing I would rather do than spend time with my husband and children, in our home, living and loving our Catholic faith and enjoying our homeschool and daily lives together.
At the moment we are also a family divided with Stephen working interstate, in Victoria. We are praying this will come to an end soon with the sale of our home and us being able to join him there. We have been doing this for over 3 years now. So if you feel inspired, we would be thankful for any prayers you could offer for us to be reunited and for peace and contentment for our family.
I would like to thank all of you who visit my Blog. As a new blogger I would also like to thank those of you who leave comments. I must admit I enjoy reading them. Thank you for taking the time to say hello.

Our Home In your great mercy, O Lord, grant that this may be a good day in this home. Save us from becoming casual with each other. Save us from lack of self disipline. Save us from any discourtesy. Bless any who shall come over our doorstep, any who shall sit at our table, or share talk with us over the phone. Let us use our home and the treasured things we have gathered about us to give others joy. Make us each discreet in our conversation, and loving and loyal to each other. And to you we should give all the glory and praise. Amen. Rita Snowden.
Prayer for Mary's Protection of Home
O Holy Virgin Mary, conceived without sin, I choose thee this day, to be the Lady and Mistress of our home, and I pray thee, in the name of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus, the Divine Son, and of thy Immaculate Conception, to preserve it from fire and lightning, from tempests and thieves, from cholera, influenza, diptheria, malaria, and all other contagious and pestilential diseases. Bless and protect every member of our family, preserve us from sin, from sudden and unprovided death, and from all evils and accidents, in the name and through the merits of the most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
Prayer to Our Lady of La Leche for another child. Lovely Lady of La Leche, most loving mother of the Child Jesus, and my Mother, listen to my humble prayer. Your motherly heart knows my every wish, my every need. To you only, His spotless Virgin Mother, has your Divine Son given to understand the sentiments which fill my soul. Yours was the sacred privilege of being the Mother of the Saviour. Intercede with Him now, my loving Mother, that, in accordance with His will, I may become the mother of other children of our heavenly Father. This I ask, O Lady of La Leche, in the Name of your Divine Son, My Lord and Redeemer. Amen. Unfailing Petition to St. Joseph Holy St. Joseph, Spouse of Mary, be mindful of me, pray for me, watch over me. Guardian of the paradise of the new Adam, provide for my temporal wants. Faithful guardian of the most precious of all treasures, I beseech thee to bring this matter to a happy end, if it be for the glory of God, and the good of my soul. Amen
Petition to St. Anne O glorious St. Anne, you are filled with compassion for those who invoke you and with love for those who suffer! Heavily burdened with the weight of my troubles, I cast myself at your feet and humbly beg of you to take this present intention which I recommend to your special care. (mention your petition) Please recommend it to your daughter, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and place it before the throne of Jesus, so that He may bring it to a happy issue. Continue to intercede for me until my request is granted. But above all, obtain for me the grace one day to see my God face to face, and with you and Mary and all the saints to praise and bless Him for all eternity. Amen.

St. Therese Rose Novena O Little Therese of the Child Jesus, please pick for me a rose from the heavenly gardens and send it to me as a message of love. O Little Flower of Jesus, ask God today to grant the favors I now place with confidence in your hands .... (Mention specific requests). St. Therese, help me to always believe as you did, in God's great love for me, so that I might imitate your "Little Way" each day. Amen.
Only for TodayDecalogue for Daily Living 1. Only for today, I will seek to live the livelong day positively without wishing to solve the problems of my life all at once. 2. Only for today, I will take the greatest care of my appearance: I will dress modestly; I will not raise my voice; I will be courteous in my behavior; I will not criticize anyone; I will not claim to improve or to discipline anyone except myself. 3. Only for today, I will be happy in the certainty that I was created to be happy, not only in the other world but also in this one. 4. Only for today, I will adapt to circumstances, without requiring all circumstances to be adapted to my own wishes. 5. Only for today, I will devote ten minutes of my time to some good reading, remembering that just as food is necessary to the life of the body, so good reading is necessary to the life of the soul. 6. Only for today, I will do one good deed and not tell anyone about it. 7. Only for today, I will do at least one thing I do not like doing; and it my feelings are hurt, I will make sure no one notices. 8. Only for today, I will make a plan for myself: I may not follow it to the letter, but I will make it. And I will be on guard against two evils: hastiness and indecision. 9. Only for today, I will firmly believe, despite appearances, that the good Providence of God cares for me as no one else who exists in this world. 10. Only for today, I will have no fears. In particular, I will not be afraid to enjoy what is beautiful and to believe in goodness. Indeed, for twelve hours I can certainly do what might cause me consternation were I to believe I had to do it all my life. Bl. Pope John XXIII
Totus Tuus Immaculate Conception, Mary, my Mother. Live in me. Act in me. Speak in and through me. Think your thoughts in my mind. Love, through my heart. Give me your dispositions and feelings. Teach, lead and guide me to Jesus. Correct, enlighten and expand my thoughts and behavior. Possess my soul. Take over my entire personality and life. Replace it with yourself. Incline me to constant adoration and thanksgiving. Pray in me and through me. Let me live in you and keep me in this union always. – Pope John Paul II

You are most like Aragorn. You have strong convictions and you stick to them. Although you are more of a recluse, you are extremely loyal to the few friends that you have. You are very serious about things, but you like having fun. Fame and fortune mean little to you, and you aren't concerned with being popular. Good for you!

Hi Gae,
It gives our children an immense feeling of satisfaction when their plants do actually start to grow.
We, in this family have a saying:
James planted
George watered
BUT God gave the increase.
Blessings,
Jillian
