In today’s busy and aggressive society mothers at home are not given much encouragement to be committed to their role in being home.
In my weekly 'Hearts for Home' post I am encouraging myself and others to commit to thinking about what 4-6 things we can do each week to bring our thoughts, prayers and actions to keeping our 'Hearts for Home'.
I am praying that a spirit of gentleness, generosity in thoughts and time along with loveliness and grace would lead us to be all that God wants us to be.
I pray also that each person involved in 'Hearts for Home' would also pray for any others involved as well.
May you be blessed by this initiative. I pray it brings you and your family many blessings.
So each week list 4-6 things you will commit to that will keep your "Hearts for Home'.
Please leave a you name and a link to your blog (if you don't have one just leave your list in the comment box) and perhaps a comment so we can all see and encourage each other.
If you would like, add the 'Hearts for Home' logo to your side bar as a reminder of your goals.
God Bless you this week.
♥ Please leave a link to your Hearts for Home Edition on the New image Linky at the end of the post, so we can all come and visit.
I would also appreciate you linking back here too.☺ ♥ ♥
I also have decided I need to print out my list so I can constantly refer to it and therefore keep it in my mind. I also need to have it put up where I can see it constantly.
My list for the 17th August is ♥ ♥
1. Write up the new and improved Chore charts for the children
2. Start K Week with the girls an finish documenting our J Week
3. Type up the reviewed lesson plans we will be using until 25th November. Then we will be having 2 days of testing and then on to... Advent Studies.
4. Start the sewing we planned for last week with the girls.
5. Try to keep our baking up to date for morning tea's....this used to be easy when they weren't so big and eat so much.
6. Make a list of planned activities we want to do between now and Christmas
Note: I am using a new image linky on the bottom of the post. I am trialling to see it I like it. Please leave an opinion if you like it or not.

Hi Gae!
I tried to add my link to Mr. Linky, but had problems with the image uploading program.
I found the previous version of Mr. Linky much simpler, and less time consuming. Having to upload an image, in spite of the fact that it didn't work, was more time consuming. I found myself scrolling through all my images for the perfect one and putting a lot more thought into it than I really had time for. It's a lot easier just to paste a link and write my name. But, if you like the image linky, then by all means, it's your blog so do as you please. :0) But, since you said you were trying out to see how you liked it, I thought I'd share my opinion.
With that here's the link to my entry

Hugs to you and yours!

You are so organized. I am trying to catch up again...it all got a little tricky for me when I had five teenagers in the house. Then they started leaving one by one...But, I'm getting myself back on track again. Your weekly Hearts for home is really helping me with that. And, I get such inspiration here.
I like the photo Mr. Linky thing. I am big into pictures.
