Hearts for Home 26th October ♥

In today’s busy and aggressive society mothers at home are not given much encouragement to be committed to their role in being home.

In my weekly 'Hearts for Home' post I am encouraging myself and others to commit to thinking about what 4-6 things we can do each week to bring our thoughts, prayers and actions to keeping our 'Hearts for Home'.

I am praying that a spirit of gentleness, generosity in thoughts and time along with loveliness and grace would lead us to be all that God wants us to be.

I pray also that each person involved in 'Hearts for Home' would also pray for any others involved as well.

May you be blessed by this initiative. I pray it brings you and your family many blessings.

So each week list 4-6 things you will commit to that will keep your "Hearts for Home'.
Please leave a you name and a link to your blog (if you don't have one just leave your list in the comment box) and perhaps a comment so we can all see and encourage each other.

If you would like, add the 'Hearts for Home' logo to your side bar as a reminder of your goals.
God Bless you this week.

♥ Please leave a link to your Hearts for Home Edition on the Mister Linky at the end of the post, so we can all come and visit.
I would also appreciate you linking back here too.☺ ♥ ♥

I also have decided I need to print out my list so I can constantly refer to it and therefore keep it in my mind. I also need to have it put up where I can see it constantly.

My list for the 26th October is ♥ ♥

1. We are focusing on Star Wars Week for our middle children (plans to follow as I have them handwritten and have to type them up)

2. Finish M Week with the little girls - lots of marshmallows and M games to play.

3. Catch up on some e-mails and plans I need to organise

4. Spend time with Vellvin working on her skirts. She got less attention as Autumn and Eden needed theirs done more quickly

5. Help the children get their own letters off to their pen friends. Make this a priority for them.

6. Keep up with our daily chores as best we can. Do NOT stress about it too much but enjoy the time with the younger children.
I have noticed a shift in the family dynamics similar to when we had less children....very interesting. I am writing about this too.

Still can't leave a comment on your blog Judy!!!!

Blessings to you and your homes,

Marshmallows-yum! Can I come and do M with your little ones too!!?!
Gae, it sounds like you have some interesting observations to tell us later about your family. I hope you do manage to not stress too much. It would be interesting to hear your views on having "me time". You must be constantly on call for your lovely family and I wonder if you ever feel the need to get away for a short time. This is something we have been discussing in a bible study group and there have been some mixed feelings. Well,I pray God's blessings upon you for the coming week-and also on your big kids while away. love..Trish

I have never been much interested in Star wars but M week sounds delicious. Perhaps you could do a review of C week and have those marshmallows with cocoa.

Sounds like a full and joyful week at your house, Gae! I really look forward to reading your writings about that "shift" in family-dynamic as I seem to be experiencing the same!
I just popped over to my blog and removed the "code word" part of the comments...try now and see if it works for you without that...I'm so sorry...I can't seem to figure out what's stopping you...I haven't had anyone else tell me that they are having trouble. Anyway, try now and see what happens.
As always, thank you for helping me to better myself as wife, mother, teacher, and daughter of God!

Star Wars week sounds like fun. My daughter is a huge Star Wars fan and she would love to do a Star Wars week. ~Alana~
