In today’s busy and aggressive society mothers at home are not given much encouragement to be committed to their role in being home.
In my weekly 'Hearts for Home' post I am encouraging myself and others to commit to thinking about what 4-6 things we can do each week to bring our thoughts, prayers and actions to keeping our 'Hearts for Home'.
I am praying that a spirit of gentleness, generosity in thoughts and time along with loveliness and grace would lead us to be all that God wants us to be.
I pray also that each person involved in 'Hearts for Home' would also pray for any others involved as well.
May you be blessed by this initiative. I pray it brings you and your family many blessings.
So each week list 4-6 things you will commit to that will keep your "Hearts for Home'.
Please leave a you name and a link to your blog (if you don't have one just leave your list in the comment box) and perhaps a comment so we can all see and encourage each other.
If you would like, add the 'Hearts for Home' logo to your side bar as a reminder of your goals.
God Bless you this week.
♥ Please leave a link to your Hearts for Home Edition on the Mister Linky at the end of the post, so we can all come and visit.
I would also appreciate you linking back here too.☺ ♥ ♥
I also have decided I need to print out my list so I can constantly refer to it and therefore keep it in my mind. I also need to have it put up where I can see it constantly.
My list for the 11th January is ♥ ♥
1.Finish organising the plans for the younger children for School this year, and type up the older children's to the Learning Blog. I really want to have it all organised by Thursday.
2. Care for little Arwen who seems to have caught a tummy bug.....read throwing up.
3. Prepare for the children's Grandparents visit. They are arriving on Thursday.
4. I would like to re-organise (take out some of the toys etc and either give them away or put in storage) the children's playroom aka, Butterfly Room so they actually play with the toys and not just create a mess with too much stuff. Well again I will hopefully finish before Thursday. I have managed to get the boys to move the huge table.
5. Prayerfully help our older boy with his ambitions and plans. Do as much as I can to help him achieve his goals.
6. Try to have a list of the crafts and sewing I would like to achieve this year, along with the written goals I still only have in my head.
Oh and I had better start listing baby names and get to the doctor too.

What a great idea--one that all of us could use. And if you're picking out baby names, Congratulations. I'm totally excited that we have a grandson joining our family this month.
My dear Gae,
Every time I read your posts on Tuesdays, I leave complete encouraged and amazed at the amount of work you do...and all for His glory!
Thank you for sharing :)
Maria
PS: I posted something on Monday...I think I will like here also.
Hi Gae,
I'm sorry to hear Arwen is unwell! We've had a taste of it here too - seems to be some tummy bugs going around at the moment.
Hope your drs appointment goes well. What a lovely and exciting thing to be choosing baby names now!
I am praying for your dear son's hopes :-) I'm sure you'll be a very helpful blessing to him in his endeavours.
So another busy week is ahead for you as you get ready for the school year to begin. Keep strong and healthy dear lady!
God bless you Gae..and thank you for your love and caring comments on my blog. I appreciate all your kind words my lovely friend!
Trish
I hope your little one is feeling better soon. Especially before the grandparents get there.
Blessings to Arwen; poor dear.
Baby names!!! How VERY exciting!!!
I hope you have a lovely visit with the children's grandparents!
Don't forget to add: "Put my feet up and REST" to your list Momma. ::smile:: Thank you for being such a gracious hostess.
Hope you have a truly blessed week as you plan and prepare for the Grandparents visit. I will be praying that little Arwen will be feeling better soon and that the bug doesn't spread as well as for your older son as you help him with his future goals - such an important time in their lives. ~Alana~
