Hearts for Home - 7th June ♥

In today’s busy and aggressive society mothers at home are not given much encouragement to be committed to their role in being home.

In my weekly 'Hearts for Home' post I am encouraging myself and others to commit to thinking about what 4-6 things we can do each week to bring our thoughts, prayers and actions to keeping our 'Hearts for Home'.

I am praying that a spirit of gentleness, generosity in thoughts and time along with loveliness and grace would lead us to be all that God wants us to be.

I pray also that each person involved in 'Hearts for Home' would also pray for any others involved as well.

May you be blessed by this initiative. I pray it brings you and your family many blessings.

So each week list 4-6 things you will commit to that will keep your "Hearts for Home'.
Please leave a you name and a link to your blog (if you don't have one just leave your list in the comment box) and perhaps a comment so we can all see and encourage each other.

If you would like, add the 'Hearts for Home' logo to your side bar as a reminder of your goals.
May God Bless you this week.

♥ Please leave a link to your Hearts for Home Edition on the Mister Linky at the end of the post, so we can all come and visit.
I would also appreciate you linking back here too.☺ ♥ ♥

Enjoying our Babymoon here still on the 7th June by doing ♥ ♥

I have implemented a  new chore and lesson schedule and will be attempting to keep it going well for everyone.

After my pocket post I will be researching different baby carriers for Trahaearn as I really love carrying him and want him to be safe and happy in it.

Start to plan for Trahaearn's Baptism: and make the cake and start to decorate it.

I am concentrating on really encouraging more imaginative play this week, starting with the cowboy game that is happening as I type, -  I just finished making Sheriff badges for them.
I have found a new baby and less time with little ones leads to more DVD watching and thus less imaginative play.

And I am hoping to write to my dear friends and get a little craft and knitting done while savouring our precious dumpling. Sadly, I didn't even start these letters last week but  I did do a little bit of crocheting, but hope to progress this week, sorry dear friends!

I really want ot make those pesky appointments that need doing that I keep forgetting about - dentists for most of the children, haircuts for boys, orthodontist for a couple and baby check ups ( Thank goodness they come to our home)

Being thankful for a beautiful baby, a hardworking and loving husband and caring and devoted to family children

Praying you all find peace and joy in your own homes this week,

I must share Gae, that carrying your precious little one in this way is so accommodating for you and for him.

I carried mine on my back, like the ladies in my country do to this day.

Be blessed today,

The dentist comes to your home????
Or, the baby doctor?
Either way...wow!
So glad that you are all settled in and drinking in the wonder of these sacred "baby" days with your beautiful family.
Thank you for pausing to encourage the rest of us:)

Hi Gae,
I'm coming over from my newer blog today, hehe!
I'm sure Trahaern's Baptism is going to be beautiful and precious.
And I understand you wanting to 'wear' him throughout the day..it's so hard to put sweet infant down.
I'm sure you will have a close and loving bond with him!
You are very blessed to have medical help come to your home - wow!
How good is that?!
Especially at this time for you.
Keep well dear friend and rest as much as possible :-)
blessings..Trish

we are so lucky in Australia to have midwives/baby nurses home visiting service - as we are to have a lot of other funded health services here that people in other countries dont have - we tend to take for granted - but no the dentist doesn't come to us at home :)

Oh, the never ending list of appts :)

I understand fully how the DVD player can be so helpful, but make us feel so guilty at the same time! I love the idea of the sheriff badges and cowboy play.

Keep enjoying that babymoon (as much as you can)

I love the theme of this meme. I believe simplicity is the key to contentment and love to find other blogs that support that.

Hi Gae,
I am new to all this Blogging stuff, my dear friend Trish sent me over to your site and i will attempt to leave a list.. if I can work out how to do it that is :) Every moment is precious and as a mum of six I know how hard it is to leave a baby alone. It is so precious, to be able to have their heart beating close to yours, and the warmth from them tucked in close.. enjoy. Nellie

You're amazing even being able to think about all these details just after you've had a baby!
