Hearts for Home - 12th July ♥

In today’s busy and aggressive society mothers at home are not given much encouragement to be committed to their role in being home.

In my weekly 'Hearts for Home' post I am encouraging myself and others to commit to thinking about what 4-6 things we can do each week to bring our thoughts, prayers and actions to keeping our 'Hearts for Home'.

I am praying that a spirit of gentleness, generosity in thoughts and time along with loveliness and grace would lead us to be all that God wants us to be.

I pray also that each person involved in 'Hearts for Home' would also pray for any others involved as well.

May you be blessed by this initiative. I pray it brings you and your family many blessings.

So each week list 4-6 things you will commit to that will keep your "Hearts for Home'.
Please leave a you name and a link to your blog (if you don't have one just leave your list in the comment box) and perhaps a comment so we can all see and encourage each other.

If you would like, add the 'Hearts for Home' logo to your side bar as a reminder of your goals.
May God Bless you this week.

♥ Please leave a link to your Hearts for Home Edition on the Mister Linky at the end of the post, so we can all come and visit.
I would also appreciate you linking back here too.☺ ♥ ♥

Enjoying our lives on the 12th July by doing ♥ ♥

This last week has not really allowed me to achieve much of my list from last week.
We ended up with sick children who have had very severe coughing and flu symptoms, even little Trahaearn has had a cough and congestion and we have been really just making do .

Today was the first day we started back to our lessons fully after some weeks and even with sick children I was pleased with the children's progress. So this week we will be slowly returning to some more structure as the illness gradually leaves our house.

The one thing I have managed to do is to rely more on my prayer life to help me through the day as I try to give a little more time to God to help me through each day.

I need to remember to serve with a willing heart and happy smile the children as they recover.....for often as they get better it becomes harder to be patient with the cranky attitudes.

Continue on with the process of building the routine and eliminating so much DVD time. I think we have made small progress over the week but I know we have far to go to reach the standards I wish. I know the idea of being completely DVD free is not a goal for our family.  We enjoy too many classic family favourites to eliminate this completely, as much as I have times when I want to after reading other people who do this but for our family it is not the right course of action, and we need to do what is right for us not be influenced just because others are doing it.

Praying you all find peace and joy in your own homes this week,

Dear Gae, I'm sorry your family is unwell - I will keep you in prayer for healing!
It's no fun having a household go down together.
Could you please remember our friend, Philip, in your prayers too?
He had a sudden heart attack last night.
Things are now out of routine here today, so I am running out of sequence with blog posts again this week :-(
Will try to put up something for Hearts for Home tomorrow.
bless you..Trish

We have a few kiddos experiencing those symptoms here right now :(
I'm glad that you had an enjoyable start to your new school year.
I miss the days of having class with a newborn in my arms:)
Thank you for helping us to focus and strive for good things in our home and family lives. Blessings to you all this week!
