Hearts for Home- 7th December ♥

In today’s busy and aggressive society mothers at home are not given much encouragement to be committed to their role in being home.

In my weekly 'Hearts for Home' post I am encouraging myself and others to commit to thinking about what 4-6 things we can do each week to bring our thoughts, prayers and actions to keeping our 'Hearts for Home'.

I am praying that a spirit of gentleness, generosity in thoughts and time along with loveliness and grace would lead us to be all that God wants us to be.

I pray also that each person involved in 'Hearts for Home' would also pray for any others involved as well.

May you be blessed by this initiative. I pray it brings you and your family many blessings.

So each week list 4-6 things you will commit to that will keep your "Hearts for Home'.
Please leave a you name and a link to your blog (if you don't have one just leave your list in the comment box) and perhaps a comment so we can all see and encourage each other.

If you would like, add the 'Hearts for Home' logo to your side bar as a reminder of your goals.
God Bless you this week.

♥ Please leave a link to your Hearts for Home Edition on the Mister Linky at the end of the post, so we can all come and visit.
I would also appreciate you linking back here too.☺ ♥ ♥

I also have decided I need to print out my list so I can constantly refer to it and therefore keep it in my mind. I also need to have it put up where I can see it constantly.

My list for the 30th November is ♥ ♥

I was  unable to achieve all I wanted to  do all I planned, I still enjoy the accountability it gives me though.
This week I will attempt the following~

1. To continue with our  St Andrew Novena. This is a commitment for a long period of time and sometimes the daily commitment can seem intense.
Some of us are going really well  with this and others are struggling with the commitment.

2. Be consistent in our working through the plans the children made for Advent. We still haven't made daily lists but have a general idea of what we are doing.
Well this one had not gone to plan this week, appointments have been very demanding.

3. To finish my review of Stories for the Homeschool Heart. This was a great book and I will enjoying sharing my thoughts with you

4. Plan for our upcoming feast days. I really was organised for St Nicholas this year, we just didn't do a lot of the plans I wanted (more appointments), BUT I was super organised for the celebrating of the feast itself. Plans and how we celebrated to follow

5. After getting Corbyn's Sensory Profile today after a visit with the Occupational Therapist - Sara. I am hoping to find time to work out how to adjust daily living with his needs ans well as Moran's.
Off course you do know they have different Sensory Needs - Moran is Sensory Defensive and Corbyn is Sensory Seeking.

6. As embarrassed to say it as I am, I want to get back into the habit of saying nightly bedtime prayers with the children as they go up to bed. I have been lax in this as my routine of putting Arwen to bed and subsequently falling asleep myself and therefor don't always get around to saying these special prayers with the children.
If I miss them I do say them quietly to myself anyway......but it isn't the same thing.

Blessings to you and your homes,

I love your industrious, practical, and purpose-filled goals!
Prayers for you to receive the graces need to carry out each one!
For the record, while carrying baby number ELEVEN in the womb, you have my permission to rest ANY time ANY where for as long as you WANT, my friend! xo (((hug)))

Nightly prayers with the children is such a special time with them and with God.

God bless you dear Gae! I hope all goes well this week for you. I am WAAAAY behind in so much :-(
You may be interested in hearing of a method for night prayers a friend uses. She sits on a small chair in her hallway and reads/prays aloud the prayers for her children who listen/join from their beds where they are all tucked up. love in Christ..Trish
