Hearts for Home - 8th November

In today’s busy and aggressive society mothers at home are not given much encouragement to be committed to their role in being home.

In my weekly 'Hearts for Home' post I am encouraging myself and others to commit to thinking about what 4-6 things we can do each week to bring our thoughts, prayers and actions to keeping our 'Hearts for Home'.

I am praying that a spirit of gentleness, generosity in thoughts and time along with loveliness and grace would lead us to be all that God wants us to be.

I pray also that each person involved in 'Hearts for Home' would also pray for any others involved as well.

May you be blessed by this initiative. I pray it brings you and your family many blessings.

So each week list 4-6 things you will commit to that will keep your "Hearts for Home'.
Please leave a you name and a link to your blog (if you don't have one just leave your list in the comment box) and perhaps a comment so we can all see and encourage each other.

If you would like, add the 'Hearts for Home' logo to your side bar as a reminder of your goals.
May God Bless you this week.

♥ Please leave a link to your Hearts for Home Edition on the Mister Linky at the end of the post, so we can all come and visit.
I would also appreciate you linking back here too.☺ ♥ ♥

Enjoying our lives on the 8th November by doing ♥ ♥

Hello Dear Friends,

First of I am sorry not to have put the linky on properly last week or returning your visits. I am adjusting to this new routine of feeding, bottle feeding and expressing every 1 1/2 hours☺

Well after all that last week has gone by in a blur and I can not say we have achieved much at all. Though i guess we did achieve getting Autumn's resume ready, one feast day well actually two, a birthday and a celebration of a little friend's First Holy Communion.

Apart from that I think my focus has been just on getting through the day. I have found I am tired a lot and wonder if it is the medication I am on.

So for this week I will be trying to get the new routines I am trying to implement happening.

The other big event in our home will be the purchase of a long awaited book tomorrow: Inheritance. I think we are getting at least 3 copies as we will buy a family copy and Autumn and Vellvin will be buying their  own copy. I am pretty sure that Saxon and Eden will be getting a copy too fairly soon too.

Apart form this I think we will just be living and learning together as a family.

May you all have a blessed week and thank you for being a part of Hearts for Home,

Hi Gae,
I'm not officially joining in but just wanted to say I think you're doing a great job and even if you feel you're not achieving much in reality you're doing so much!
Keep up the good and Godly work and rest assured I'm praying for you and your family.

My teens are eagerly awaiting that book, as well! ENJOY! Hoping that you regain some strength and get some added rest:) Also, wanted you to know how excited I am that my book has now been published in Kindle/Nook and E-formats...instantly downloadable...making it available to all who live outside the USA!!! I know how STEEP those shipping charges are for hard-copies...so I made sure that it was published in these electronic forms as well! You had mentioned an interest in it a while back, so I thought I'd mention it:) Thank you for this meme, which keeps me centered and enriches my life as a mother-at-home!

Dear Gae,

I must share that right now you your focus is really on the little one, but yet, you feel pull to help all the others.

Oh Gae, I was there were you are right now. I was bottle feeding and pumping breast milk every hour. It was exhausting and most time, I had no clue what day it was or what time.

But looking back now, I must share that it taught me to rely completely on My Lord and Savior. I was a Christian then, but I was not truly living for Our Lord. So the battle to complain and grumble was really hard.

Little by little that season ended, and I find myself reminiscing of those times.

You are so blessed dear friend, that your support comes from Our Lord and then your family. What a blessing to know that you have children that are older that could help and keep you from over doing it.

You are in my prayers dear friend,

Maria
