Hearts for Home - 12th April ♥

In today’s busy and aggressive society mothers at home are not given much encouragement to be committed to their role in being home.

In my weekly 'Hearts for Home' post I am encouraging myself and others to commit to thinking about what 4-6 things we can do each week to bring our thoughts, prayers and actions to keeping our 'Hearts for Home'.

I am praying that a spirit of gentleness, generosity in thoughts and time along with loveliness and grace would lead us to be all that God wants us to be.

I pray also that each person involved in 'Hearts for Home' would also pray for any others involved as well.

May you be blessed by this initiative. I pray it brings you and your family many blessings.

So each week list 4-6 things you will commit to that will keep your "Hearts for Home'.
Please leave a you name and a link to your blog (if you don't have one just leave your list in the comment box) and perhaps a comment so we can all see and encourage each other.

If you would like, add the 'Hearts for Home' logo to your side bar as a reminder of your goals.
God Bless you this week.

♥ Please leave a link to your Hearts for Home Edition on the Mister Linky at the end of the post, so we can all come and visit.
I would also appreciate you linking back here too.☺ ♥ ♥

My list for the 12th April  is ♥ ♥

1. Stop! Breathe deep!  Relax!  Contemplate! Give thanks! Enjoy!

2. Continue to work on my Tasha Tudor shawl as I have really enjoyed this simple knitting process. Cut out some more Easter bunnies, to sew as I have finished all I have ready so far. Easter is not very far away now so I need to be organised.
Continue to crochet, I have made a granny square and will share this soon as well. It is hard to say which I have enjoyed most knitting or crochet.

3. Plan our Holy Week activities.  I have many egg themed ideas I want to try out that are different to past years.

4. Resolve to actually have a name picked for our baby. Even after my post on baby names we still haven't looked at a list to choose from.

5. Enjoy the time we have with our eldest son, Kynan home for 3 weeks. Our little Arwen has been like a limpet to him and she even wanted Kynan to put her to bed for the first two nights he was home. She followed him everywhere and he couldn't go any place with out her calling for her Kynan.
Treasured moments for them and for me to observe.

6. Try to look at the baby clothes in storage and what we need to organise. Poor Stephen is convinced this baby will come early for some reason.

Blessings to you and your homes,

Hello Gae,
I missed your original post about the Tasha shawl. It is a lovely shawl, and something I'd like to make as well - I'm also a beginner to average knitter. Thank you for sharing the pattern link.

And may the Lord bless you and your family as you wait for your newest little blessing.

I want to try this! I really need to start focusing on my other children this week and not keep worrying about my pregnancy. Thanks!
